Regionals Hardware Comes To TRA

The Northeast Regional Ringette Championship was hosted March 11-13, 2022 by the West Ferris Ringette Association in North Bay and the U10 Timmins Tornadoes Brought home the gold !!

The first game was on Friday morning against Walden. The girls played hard, the game was neck in neck with an end score of 6-5 for Timmins. Leighla Belair scored a hat trick, Olivia Robertson got 2 goals and Brooklyn Chamberland with the game winning goal.

Second game was Friday afternoon against Sault St-Marie. The girls succumbed to a loss of 9-6 after a hard game played. Leighla Belair with 4 goals and Olivia Robertson with 2 goals.

Third game was Saturday afternoon against Valley East. The girls played hard and won by one goal again 11-10 for Timmins. Leighla Belair with 5 goals and Olivia Robertson with 4 and Cora Wilson with 2 goals.

Fourth game against Sudbury on Saturday evening we played and tied 6-6. Leighla got one goal and Olivia Roberson with 4 goals and Brooklyn Chamberland with one goal. Gold medal game on Sunday afternoon against Sault St-Marie was neck in neck until the very end of the game. Where Timmins took the lead of 10-9. Leighla Belair with 1 goal, Olivia Robertson with 6 goals, Brooklyn Chamberland with two goal and Ana Roy with one goal.

We played hard as a team with our amazing Goalie Julia Robertson.
