In Timmins Ringette Association on Sunday, JBO Division action took place on two fronts. Tisdale Plumbing and Heating played a spirited game and came out on top of Custom Concrete by a score of 5-3. Tisdale was led to victory by Jaime Cayen and Jennifer Daoust’s two goal, two assist performance. Goalie Christina Liposcate, once again was a brick wall in goal. Custom tried to mount a comeback in the second half, but fell short. They were led by Alyssa Curtis’s two goals. Janelle Beland also scored. Cassie Villars, Natalie Paille, Neomi Bordeleau, and Amelie Mainville contributed single assists. Kyara Breton was called up from the Tween Division to play Goal for the short-staffed Custom team and stood her ground well. In the other Game, Cain Safety doubled up on Masonic Lodge by a score of 4-2. Cain Safety was led by Gabrielle Lambert’s two goals. Shannon Lachance also scored. Alexa Caron chipped in with two assists. For the Lodge, Erin Rumleski had a strong game with both goals and Isabelle Roundeau helped out with two assists.

In Novice play on Tuesday, Porcupine Kinsmen overwhelmed Neo Lazer Tag 7-2. Valerie Hamiton stole the show this night with a 4 goal explosion. Tatiana Dalcourt and Alisa Duggan scored the other goals while Goalie, Addison Lamothe, barred the door in net. Taylor Pilotte had two assists in the game. Jordyn Sparks added one assist. Jillian Daguerre, Tristan Mathieu, and Emilie Mathieu were a strong combination on defence . Neo Lazer replied with goals from Jana Courschesne and Cloe Belanger-Gallant.
In Petite play on Monday, Timmins Garage defeated Designer Pools 7-4. The game was highlighted by a strong goaltending display from Jo-Anne Vane and the scoring exploits of Karine Bolduc. Karine scored three goals. Her linemate, Camryn Hyde added two goals of her own. Ella McCarty had a goal and an assist while Lauren Bonsall rounded out the scoring. Alexis Jensen and Anika Alarie played strong two way games and added one assist each. For Designer Pools, Maria Aide-Rios had a hat trick. Martina Romain added a single tally. Elise Aubry had two assists, while Kaitlyn Bangs and Adison Roberge had single assists.
On Tuesday, Porcupine Kinsmen defeated Timmins Garage 6-4. This was a close and entertaining game throughout, but the Kinsmen prevailed with two goals in the final five minutes. Adison Roberge had a hat trick for the winners, while Chloe Champion added one goal and one assist. For Timmins Garage, Ella McCarty had three goals of her own. Kenady Hussey, with her first goal of the year, completed the scoring for her team.
In Tween Division play on Sunday, Albert`s Sports and Work Wear travelled to Iroquois Falls and defeated the Iroquois Falls Home Hardware Hornets team 6-3. Jessica Boileau and Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau scored two goals for the victors while Madison Seguin and Alexandre Lent contributed one goal and an assist each. Kaylee Simoneau added one assist. The Iroquois Falls crew responded with goals from Cloe Poliquin, Logan Lachance, and Tatum Emans.
On Wednesday, Viel Auto Body bested Albert’s Sports and Work Wear in a 4-3 nail-biter. Viel Auto Body displayed great teamwork throughout the game in withstanding a late push from Albert’s to hold on for the win. Marguerite Bourdages-Côté had a two goal, one assist effort, while Tessa Desjardins and Olivia Peters scored one each. Janelle Rivard and Sierra Landry had strong two way games and two assists each. Emma Bélanger played strong in goal in resisting Albert’s late push in the second period to hold on for the win. In a losing cause, Paige Brumwell, Jessica Boileau, and Madison Seguin scored for Albert’s. Karine Bolduc and Kaylee Simoneau added single assists. Kyara Breton also played well in goal.

In JBO action on Wednesday, Cain Safety doubled up Custom Concrete 6-3. Samantha Cain and Shannon Lachance had two goals each. Gabrielle Lambert and Sydney Dagenais added single tallies for the winners. Karine Caron and Gabrielle Dagenais helped with one assist each. Adele Larochelle had a strong goaltending performance. Emily Bartolomucci and Kristen Vane each had one goal and one assist in a losing cause. Cassie Villars scored the other goal.
