In Timmins Ringette JBO division play on Sunday, Masonic Lodge and Custom Concrete played a highly spirited and competitive game, culminating in a 2-2 tie.   Alexie Trudel and Gabrielle Lavasseur scored for Custom, with Kristen Vane adding an assist.   Magalie Durepos-Letourneau and Marie Bourdages-Cote replied for the Lodge.   Emelie Viel and Karine Trudel added one assist each.

Novice Division:

In Novice division action on Tuesday, Porcupine Kinsmen routed the Royal Canadian Legion 11-5.  Porcupine was led by the four goals of Tatiana Dalcourt, three goals from Valerie Hamilton, and two goals each from Taylor Pilotte and Alisa Duggan.  Emelie Mathieu and Taylor Pilotte added two assists a piece, while Jillian Daguerre and Sophie Chamberland added one.  Royal Canadian Legion responded with a two goal effort from Addison McQuatt, and single tallies from Christelle Berthier, Callie Chamberland, and Alexyane Plouffe.   Gabrielle Cheff,  Alexyane Plouffe, and Christelle Berthier added assists.

On Friday, Royal Canadian Legion narrowly edged Neo Lazer Tag 7-6, in a highly contested back and forth game.   Addison McQuatt and Christelle Berthier led the Legion team to victory with two goal, one assist efforts.  Gabrielle Cheff, Mila Champagne and Callie Chamberland added single markers. Megane Plouffe, Callie Chamberland, and Mia Thauvette each had important assists.   Jillian Daguerre responded in a losing cause with a hat trick and one assist.   Other Neo Lazer goals came off the sticks of Isabelle Merenda and Isabelle Rivard (two).  Jasmin Bangs and Jillian Daguerre each had one assist.

 

Petite Division:

On Tuesday, Designer Pools defeated Porcupine Kinsmen 7-5.   The Pool team opened up what had been a 2-1 deficit in the first half by scoring six goals in the second period.  They were led by the two goal exploits of Brooke-Lynne McGinn, Amaia Aide-Rios, and Janelle Lapierre.   Ella Brumwell contributed one goal and three assists.   Jillian Daguerre, Jana Courchesne, and Janelle Lapierre chipped in with single assists.  For the Kinsmen, Daphne Labelle scored two goals, while Zoe Brazeau, Juliette Bourdage-Cote, and Isabelle Quesnel-Godda had one each.

On Wednesday, Timmins Garage and Porcupine Kinsmen played to a highly contested game that ended up squared off in a 5-5 tie. Karine Bolduc, Isabelle Quesnel-Godda, Lauren Bonsall, Anika Allarie, and Camryn Hyde scored for Timmins Garage.   Camryn Hyde (two), Alexis Jensen, Kenady Hussey, and Lauren Bonsall added assists.   Daphne Labelle and Juliette Bourdage-Cote responded with two goals each for the Kinsmen.  Zoe Brazeau tallied once.

On Friday, Designer Pools defeated the Iroquois Falls Legion Bears 6-1.  The Pool team broke a tight game open with five unanswered goals in the second half.  Martina Romain and Maria Aide-Rios led their team to victory with two goal, three assist efforts.  Isabelle Quesnel-Godda and Isabella Peters also scored.  Annya Come replied for Iroquois Falls.

 

Tween Division:

In Tuesday night Tween play, Rehab Plus defeated Albert’s Sports and Work Wear 5-3.  This game featured a hotly contested battle in the first half featuring the exceptional goaltending exploits of Rehab’s Katie Page and Albert’s Kyara Breton.   Rehab took the game in the second period with three unanswered goals.   They were led by Caelan Easton’s two goal, one assist performance and Keenyah Murray’s two goal and two assist game.  The other goal came off the stick of Danielle Southcott.   Morgan MacIver had an assist.   Samantha Stewart, Jessica Boileau, and Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau responded for Albert’s in a losing cause.   Jayme Marcotte and Alexandre Lent contributed one assist apiece.

On Sunday, Albert’s exacted revenge on Rehab Plus with a narrow 2-1 win.   Again, the game was highlighted by the strong goaltending performances of Rehab’s Katie Page and Albert’s Kyara Breton.   Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau led her Albert’s team to victory with two goals.   Caelan Easton replied for Rehab Plus in a losing cause.

 

JBO  Division:

On Wednesday, Cain Safety came to play in defeating a short-staffed Custom Concrete team 6-3.    Shannon Lachance and Sydney Dagenais led their team to victory with three and two goal efforts, respectfully.   Riley Kaye added a single tally.   Adele Larochelle was strong in goal.   For Custom, Janelle Beland, Jade O’Donnell, and Alexie Trudel replied.   Allyssa Curtis worked hard in contributing two assists.

Tisdale Plumbing and Heating edged Masonic Lodge 3-1 in a game highlighted by strong defensive play and the strong goaltending of Masonic’s Katie Page and Tisdale’s Christina Liposcak.  Veronique Gagne led Tisdale to victory by scoring two goals.  Julie Larocque added a single score.  Gabriele Larocque, Chelsey Morin, Jennifer D’Aoust and Brittney Larocque had the assists.    Magalie Durepos-Letourneau replied for the Lodge, while Alley Perrier and Erin Rumleski added assists.
