In Timmins Ringette JBO division play on Sunday, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating opened up what had been a close affair, by scoring 6 unanswered goals in the second period on route to a 8-4 win over Custom Concrete.  Danya Desjardins, Jennifer D’Aoust, and Veronique Gagne paced the Tisdale attack with two goals each.   Gabriele Larocque added a goal and an assist, while Brittney Larocque rounded out the scoring.  Cassie Villars turned in a strong effort for Custom in scoring two goals, while Janelle Beland and Alyssa Curtis added single tallies.  Emily Bartolomucci contributed two assists.

Novice Division:

On Friday night, Royal Canadian Legion triumphed over the Iroquois Falls Ringers 9-6.  Addison McQuatt paced the Legion attack with four goals.   Gabrielle Cheff had a hat trick of her own.  Single goals came off the sticks of Mila Champagne and Callie Chamberland.   Mia Thauvette and Mila Champagne had key assists.   The Ringers played a spirited game and were led by Chloe Boucher’s hat trick.   Emerly Come contributed 2 goals and one assist.   Catherine Morin completed the scoring for Iroquois Falls.

 

 

Petite Division:

On Monday, Timmins Garage played a hard fought game and triumphed 6-5 over Porcupine Kinsmen.   The scoring was spread out evenly on goals by Camryn Hyde, Lauren Bonsall (two), Anika Allarie, Addison McQuatt, and Isabelle Quesnel-Godda.  For Addison, this was her first game playing at the Petite level.   Ella McCarty added two assists in the win.  Karine Bolduc had one assist.   For Porcupine Kinsmen, Juliette Bourdage-Cote scored two goals while Talia Rivard, Zoe Brazeau and Daphne Labelle chipped in with single tallies.   Anne-Sophie Labelle, Daphne Labelle, Zoe Brazeau, and Talia Rivard also added one assist a piece.

On Tuesday Timmins Garage edged Designer Pool’s 5-4.   The winning goal was scored with less than three minutes left by Lauren Bonsall.  Julie Whissel, Kenady Hussey, Ella McCarty, and Alexis Jensen scored the other goals for the Garage team.  Isabelle Quesnel-Godda chipped in with two assists.  For Designer Pool, Brooke-Lynne McGinn had two goals.  Addison McQattt and Amaia Aide-Rios rounded out the scoring.

On Sunday, Timmins Garage travelled to Iroquois Falls and edged the Iroquois Falls Legion Bears 4-3.   Lauren Bonsall led the Timmins attack with a two goal and one assist effort.  Ella McCarty and Isabelle Quesnel-Godda added one goal each in the win.  Anna McBride put in a strong fighting effort for the Iroquois Falls team in scoring two goals.  Emerly Come scored as well. Abby Cyr had two assists in a losing cause.

 

 

Tween Division:

In Wednesday night Tween Division action, Alberts Sports and Work Wear narrowly edged their rivals from Rehab Plus 2-1.   Albert’s won this game dominated by the strong goaltending of Kyara Breton, by scoring the winning goal with less than four minutes left in the game.   Jessica Boileau scored that timely goal, while Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau  also scored.   Key assists came off the sticks of Kaylee Simoneau, Paige Brumwell, Jayme Marcotte, and Samantha Stewart.   Keyana Breault scored the lone goal for Rehab, while Katie Page matched her rival in goal with an exceptional effort.

In other Tween action, Viel Auto Body edged Albert’s 6-5.   Lea Mclean and Emma Robertson led the Viel attack with two goals each.  Sierra Landry and Marguerite Bourdage-Cote completed their scoring.  Tessa Desjardins had two assists.  Pari Breton, Sierra Landry, and Lea Mclean had one assist each.  Jessica Boileau scored two goals in a losing cause for Albert’s, while Kaylee Simoneau and Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau each added one goal and two assists.  Madison Seguin rounded out their scoring.  Martina Romaine added an assist.

 

 

JBO  Division:

On Wednesday, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating edged Cain Safety 5-3 in a closely fought and intense game.   Veronique Gagne led her team to victory with three goals and one assist, while Gabrielle Lambert chipped in with two goals.   Chantal Hamilton and Katie Malo added two assists each while Danya Desjardin, and Chelsey Mann had single assists.   For Cain Safety, Rachelle Helin had a goal and an assist.   Sam Cain and Sydney Dagenais rounded out the scoring.

In other JBO games, Custom Concrete and Masonic Lodge squared off and fought to a well deserved 3-3 tie.  Alexie Trudel led the Custom crew with two goals while Aimee Chenier contributed one goal and two assists.  Cassie Villars had three assists.    Cain Safety was led by Erin Rumleski’s two goals.   Magalie Durepos-Letourneau had the other goal.   Brooke Perrier, Ally Perrier, and Sarah Deforge added one assist each.
