The Timmins Ringette Association played several games last week:

 

Novice:

On Tuesday, the Porcupine Kinsmen triumphed over Neo Lazer Tag 7-2.   Jillian Daguerre led the Kinsmen to the win by scoring a hat trick.   Tatiana Dalcourt added two goals.   Valerie Hamilton and Taylor Pilotte had single markers.   Addison Lamothe played a strong game and added an assist.   Jasmine Bangs and Olivia Breton responded for Neo Lazer.

 

Petite:

On Tuesday, Timmins Garage edged Designer Pools 8-7 in a highly contested back and forth game.   Timmins Garage came back from a 4-2 first period deficit by scoring six goals in the second half.   The winning goal came off the stick of Ella McCarty with less than two minutes left.   For the game, Ella hat a hat trick.   Lauren Bonsall and Anika Allarie also had strong games; each scoring two and adding an assist. Camryn Hyde rounded out the scoring.     The Pool team played a strong game right to the end and were led by a hat trick from Marie Aide-Rios.   Amaia Aide-Rios, Brooke-Lynne McGinn, Zoe Brazeau, and Janelle Lapierre added single tallies.

On Friday, Timmins Garage and Designer Pools played again.  Again, the Garage team triumphed- this time 6-4.  Due to a shortage of players, both teams had to call up several players from the Novice division to play.   Addison Mcquatt paced the Timmins Garage team with a two goal, one assist effort.  Karine Bolduc, Alexis Jensen, Alexyane Plouffe, and Talia Rivard rounded out the scoring.   Julie Whissel added an assist.   Brooke Lynne McGinn responded for the Pool team with a hat trick, while Martina Romain added one goal.   Mya Brousseau had a strong game in a losing cause with three assists.  Fiona Bernier and Juliette Bourdages-Cote each had one assist.

 

Tween:

On Monday, Alberts Sports and Work Wear defeated Viel Auto Body 8-2.   Paige Brumwell led the attack with two goals and one assist.   Jessica Boileau and Karine Harvey had two goals each while Danika Ratte and Alexandre Lent chipped in with single tallies.  Keyana Breault and Marguerite Bourdages Cote responded in a losing effort for Viel.

JBO:

On Tuesday, Masonic Lodge worked hard all game to topple Custom Concrete 8-2.   Isabelle Rondeau led her team to victory by scoring three goals.  Marie Bourdage-Cote added two goals.   Single markers came off the sticks of Erin Rumleski, Magalie Durepos-Letourneau and Megan Lessard.   For Megan, she celebrated her 15th birthday with her first goal of the year.   Brooke Perrier had two assists while Alley Perrier, Emelie Viel, Magalie Durepos-Letourneau, and Karine Trudel contributed one assist each.  Cassie Villars and Alyssa Curtis responded for Custom in a losing cause.   Alexie Trudel and Emily Bartolomucci had one assist each.

On Wednesday, Cain Safety edged Custom Concrete 4-3 in a closely fought,exciting game.   Gabrielle Dagenais led Cain Safety to victory with two goals, while Sydney Dagenais and Nancy Courchesne each added a goal.  Nancy Courchesne, Sydney Dagenais, and Shannon Lachance contributed one assist a piece.  Alexie Trudel led the Custom response with a two goal effort.   Alysa Curtis had the other goal.   Kristen Vane, Cassie Villars, and Natalie Paille added single assists.
